It is a bit late but I knew I had to get my May Favorites up today or else! I have been loving a lot of products this month, especially bright lip colors. Hope you enjoy this post ^_^
Ponds Clear Balance Clear Solutions Acne Face Scrub
I picked this up because previous Pond's products have been good to my skin and I thought it will help with my acne. Wow, did it work or did it work! It has been a god-send for me and my skin has cleared up significantly due to this. Definitely a repurchase.
MUA Undress Your Skin Flawless Skin Primer
I am majorly impressed with MUA products. For the price and quantity, you get your bang for your buck. I wanted to get my hands on a primer and since MUA launched it's Undress Me line, I decided to go for this one. It makes a smooth canvas for foundation and in this sweltering heat, it actually prolongs the longevity of the foundation. Amazing stuff!
Rimmel Stay Matte Powder in Sandstorm
After reading so many rave reviews about this, I finally got my hands on it. Great budget buy and keeps oil at bay for a decent 4-5 hours. The only thing that can use some improvement is the packaging, I had a mini heart attack when I almost dropped mine because the pan fell away from the lid.
Lakme Cheek Chromatic Baked Blush in Day Blushes
I decided to get this blush when Corallista said that it one of the best blushes for Asian skin tones. Indeed it is, a beautiful pink that lasts hours and hours and applies flawlessly.
Forever 52 Kissproof lipgloss in TLC 19
I have raved about this product in my review here. Cannot get enough of this pretty mate orange that is perfect for the summer!
Sleek Pout Paint in Pinkini and Wet 'n' Wild lipstick in Coraline
One is a bright, in-your-face fuchsia pink and the other is a reddish coral, what is not to love? Their semi-matte finishes and long-lasting powers makes them the products to have on your lips this summer!
Luscious Hearts Fashion- The House of Kamiar Rokni
I had a manicure done at the beginning of May in which I had applied OPI Love is a Racket. After that, this is the only polish I went to because it is a happy orange that brightens my mood (Yes, my love for orange is bordering on insane :P ).
My favorite show this month is hands down Game of Thrones. I spent all of May catching up on this brilliantly written and televised serial, partly at the insistence of a friend and partly because, hey, I wanted to know what all the fuss was about. Based on the Songs of Fire and Ice series by George R.R Martin, this is a show about leadership, power and what it means to be human. Seven families are fighting for the Iron Throne in the kingdom of Westeros and in ten episodes per season, it gets more intriguing and convoluted. Fans of fantasy will love this show!
